1Metabolic rate or VO2max using the KORR metabolic testing system with TRUE TARGET ZONE’S. VO2 testing reveals the exercise level that will optimize a person’s ability to burn fat. The term aerobic exercise has been commonly used in relation to burning fat. But without VO2 testing, fitness professionals have had to rely on crude estimates to determine what level of exercise intensity would be aerobic or fat burning.

2Body fat mass, body weight, and lean body mass using a clinical body composition analyzer. Body fat mass provides a better indicator of your physical condition than strictly looking at your body mass index. Lean body mass is the weight of a person’s body that isn’t fat including muscle as well as bones and other nonfat tissue. A change in your lean body mass can dramatically affect your appearance, even if your total body weight doesn’t change.

4Basal metabolic rate and your resting heart rate. Resting heart rate will decrease as the participant’s heart becomes larger and stronger with training. A low resting heart rate is an indicator of fitness. Basal metabolic rate, and the closely related resting metabolic rate, is the rate of energy expenditure by humans. Increasing the basal metabolic rate through My Kore Training will help increase fat loss and lean muscle mass.

Using these 4 measurements we determine your baseline KORE Score. After determining your baseline our trainers will determine your fitness goals and assign you a KORE Score to reach those fitness goals.
